When you hear the words "abundance" and "prosperity", what immediately comes to mind?Is it money, fulfilling relationships, a lovely house to live in, peace of mind, a career/vocation that expresses your gifts?
It may be all or none of those things. It may mean something else to you. But if you want to attract more prosperity and abundance into your life, no matter how you define them, then this article outlines 5 key ways to do so.
1. Understand Attraction Law
This is better known as the Law of Attraction, as defined by Abraham Hicks, states that "you attract whatever you give your attention and energy to, whether wanted or unwanted".
So, if you're curious about what you're putting out there, look at what you are attracting, the visible results in your life. Knowing about and working with the the Law of Attraction will help you in manifesting, creating and attracting more abundance and prosperity in your life.
Once you understand it, there's no turning back.
2. You get what you focus on
One of the key concepts in the Law of Attraction is that you get what you focus on, whether that be money, relationships, employment etc). So when you focus on having less, that is the experience you create for yourself.
Saying that "I hate my job" will just draw even more attention to the aspects of the job that you don't like. Even if you look for another job, it'll be with that negative energy.
Just wanting something isn't enough, because you will still continue to think about what you don't have. Always focusing on what you lack means that you don't see the present and future opportunities, or begin to realise your true desires. You're getting in your own way!
3. Clear your head
..........to allow you to focus more effectively. Our minds are full of "stuff"; old, tired and limiting beliefs, which don't reflect who we are now, or who we want to become.
Set aside quiet time for yourself on a regular basis to get real clear about what you really want to attract in your life. Use this opportunity to ask yourself questions.
Ask yourself: "how can I create more prosperity and abundance in my life?". Once your head is clear, you will allow the answers to come to you. Meditation is a great way to start clearing the mind.
4. Appreciate life's abundance
Appreciating life's abundance is another way to opening yourself up to accept more abundance and prosperity in your life. When you fully appreciate what you have in your life, the Universe has a way of giving you more.
Keep a gratitude journal and at the end of each day, write down everything that you appreciate in your life. You'll begin to change your energy and vibration and become more internally aligned with what you want to create in your life.
5. Use prosperity affirmations
As you write your gratitude journal, it is an opportunity to write down prosperity affirmations as well. Affirmations are statements of acceptance that you use to manifest your destiny or what you want to create in your life. They are powerful, positive thoughts and words sent out to the universe.
If you want to use affirmations to create positive changes in your life, then you must first BELIEVE that this is possible. It shouldn't be a half hearted "well, I'll give this a go and see what happens".
To make affirmations more effective, put as much positive energy in writing and saying them as possible. Visualise what you want to create and let this inform your prosperity affirmations.
When you cease operating from a position of lack, you start to create the fertile conditions to make more informed decisions, identify greater opportunities and attract more abundance and prosperity into your life.

Motivation - 2 Ways to Stay Motivated
How do you stay motivated to achieve what ever it is you are going after?
1) Know what you really want. This may seem obvious, but something too vague can make it tough to stay focused.
Here is an example. Making more money is a pretty general goal. So, set your focus on a specific number, on how much you want to make in a given time-frame. This can be daily, weekly, monthly or whatever else you want it to be.
Get even more specific and write down what the reason is for making more money. Is it because you want a new car, boat, house? Write it down.
After doing this you may want to change your goal. For example money may not be your true want. In most cases it is what the money will give a person that is important. Driving a new Ferrari may be the real desired outcome. Thus the Ferrari should be the real focus.
This will allow you to get more excited about what you are aiming to achieve. In doing this you may open up other avenues for getting what you really want. If one wants a Ferrari and focuses on just making more money to buy a Ferrari, they may be cutting off other potential ways of getting a Ferrari.
2) AIM BIG! Make your goal something you want with a scorching desire. If your goal is too easy it can be hard to get motivated.
For example, if you tie your shoes every day and decide that your goal is to tie your shoes today, you're probably not going to have a burning desire to tie your shoes, although you still might do it. Make your goals big and exciting and it will be easier to stay motivated.
You want your goal to be a challenge, something you really want. So the saying goes, "To get what you have never had you must do what you have never done."
Think about a time when you had to step out of your comfort zone to get what you wanted.
I remember the first time I asked a girl to dance in Junior High. It was at a school dance. I was so nervous that I was practically crapping myself. I had a crush on this one blond-haired and blue-eyed girl. I thought she was the hottest thing ever. I stood just staring at her and then started pacing back and forth with nervous anticipation. Then I got the balls to ask her. I made a bee-line for her and I asked her to dance and she said, "sure." VICTORY! It was sweet.
To get what you really want you're going to have to step outside your comfort zone. Think about a time when you had to step out of your comfort zone to get what you wanted. It might have been a bit scary, but that fear of the unknown is largely what made getting what you wanted so rewarding. Aim big and it will keep you motivated and be more enjoyable in the end..

7 Simple Confidence Building Tips
Everyone knows how important it is to have a high degree of confidence in yourself, but hardly anyone who doesn't already have high confidence knows how to get it. High confidence is a state of mind, but there are actions and steps you can take to improve your confidence level.
Taking the time to follow a few simple confidence tips will help improve your self confidence and make you a happier person.
1. You cannot control everything, so don't try to
We often waste a lot of our valuable time and energy worrying about what might happen, even if we have no control over the situation. Instead of wasting energy this way, focus on things you can control. Do not waste your time on events you have no power over.
2. Learn to visualize positive outcomes
Whenever you are trying a new experience or activity, visualize yourself being successful at it. It is actually very easy to trick your mind into believing that success is a foregone conclusion.
Sit down, close your eyes, and use all of your senses to imagine your success. Picture it in detail in your mind and think what it would feel like to achieve this success. You may be surprised at the effect it has as your subconscious mind will be fooled into thinking you have already achieved this success and it will make you behave and feel much more positive.
3. Imitate a confident person that you admire
Look around you and find someone who has the confidence you would like to have yourself. Imitate their behavior. How they carry themselves, how they treat others, and how they handle confrontation are just a few of the key qualities you should imitate.
If you can, sit down with them for a while and just talk with them. One of the easiest ways to learn is by doing that, so spend some time imitating a confident person to learn confidence.
4. Shut down negative behaviors
Every time you find yourself handling a situation or confrontation the way a person with low confidence would, ask yourself how you would handle it if you had high confidence and then follow through on that action. Some people may consider this to be 'acting' but it is one of the best tools you can use to raise your confidence level.
5. Always remember that there is light at the end of the tunnel
When faced with a difficult situation, take some time to sit down and honestly assess what can happen in the future, no matter what it is. If you do not like the outcome, change your actions. This is one of the best tools you can use to boost your confidence.
6. You can't win if you don't try
If you are too afraid to take a chance or try something new, there is absolutely zero chance you will succeed at it. Do not be afraid to try new things or experience. You may end up finding a new hobby you enjoy or discover a hidden talent: both excellent confidence boosters.
7. Remind yourself of all the things you do well
Your friends and family will all be able to supply you with information about several talents and good qualities that you have. Believe them when they tell you these things. No-one can do everything but there are many things that you will be able to do. Take confidence and pride in those things that you are good at.
These simple tips are great ways to boost your confidence. They are easy to implement in your everyday life and can really change the way you feel about yourself. Having confidence in yourself is one of the best things you can do to have a happy life and to achieve even more things. That in turn will increase your confidence. Make confidence a self-fulfilling prophecy with these simple confidence tips.

6 Simple Steps to Improving Your Self-Esteem
Simply put, self-esteem is the mental image we have of ourselves. People with a good self-image are more likely to be successful in all aspect of their lives. Their positive attitude is likely to help them in school or a work and they are more likely to develop positive relationships than people with poor self-esteem.
People who suffer from poor self-esteem often find themselves struggling to accomplish even the most simple of goals. They often feel that they are not good enough, smart enough, attractive enough or even simple just not enough. These negative thoughts can impact upon your life every day.
There is hope, though. You can develop positive self-esteem if you are willing to put the time and energy into it.
1. View mistakes as opportunities to learn something new
Try not to think of mistakes as something bad; instead take the chance to learn something new. Life itself is a process of learning and everyone, no matter how perfect they seem, can learn new things.
Why are you any different? If you make a mistake, step back from it, think about what went wrong and determine what to do to avoid the same mistake in the future.
2. Nobody is perfect, so don't expect yourself to be
Instead of focusing solely on perfection, focus on obtainable goals. Do not limit yourself by your need to be perfect. If you enjoy running, don't wait to enter a race until you are certain you can win; just enter the race!
3. Stop being so negative
People who suffer from low self-esteem focusing on what they think are wrong with them. Anytime you find yourself doing this, counter yourself with one positive thought. If you find yourself thinking 'I'm too fat too fit into those jeans', counter the thought with something like 'I'm proud of the fact that I've lost three pounds - I'll fit into those jeans in no time at all'.
Another excellent 'positive thinking' exercise is to write down three positive things about yourself each night. After a week or two, go back and read them; you may be surprised to read about what a great person you are!
4. Step out of your comfort zone
Let yourself out of your 'safe' place and try new things. Go to a new restaurant or try out a new hobby. It is a great way to find out what you are really good at (or what you really like). Take pride in that.
5. Open your mouth
Your thoughts have merit and value, so share them with others. Do not fall into the trap that your ideas or opinions are 'dumb' or 'stupid.' The next time someone asks your opinion, tell them what you really think. Even if your opinion is different to theirs, it is still valid.
6. There is no magic wand to change things
There are some things you simply cannot change. While there are some things about yourself you can change, like your weight or your personal style, there are other things that you will simply never be able to change. Instead of hating your freckles, realize they are there to stay and try to learn to love them.
These are just a few ideas you can use to improve your self-esteem; however, the most important thing you can do is remind yourself day in and day out that you are worth it, you are more than enough.
Surround yourself with positive people who love and cherish you. Find something positive about yourself with every completed activity. The more you say positive things about yourself, the easier it will be and your self-esteem and self confidence will grow and grow over time.

Faith - The Substance of Things
Faith is the substance of things hoped for. Everything in the physical world has substance. In some way or another it can be detected. And the original substance of all things is faith. If God had not released his faith in the earth there would not be anything here now. Through faith God created the world with his words (Heb. 11:3). Faith is a spiritual substance by which the spiritual becomes physical. There is a spiritual world. God created that world with his faith and words also. That world is just as real as this physical world.
The physical world operates by the spiritual world. Look at yourself your physical body operates by your spirit. When your spirit leaves your body it ceases to operate. The spirit world is eternal (everlasting) but the physical world is temporal (subject to change). So when the eternal comes against the temporal then the temporal has to give way to the eternal. And faith is the spiritual force that brings the spiritual into the physical. So faith is what gives substance to the spiritual in the physical world. And that spiritual force of faith comes from God's word, by hearing God's word.
Understand this the things you are trying to get faith for already exists. They exists in the spiritual world. Faith is the substance of things and a thing is only a thing when it exists. That thing exist in the spirit realm. But as long as it stays spiritual only it does not do you any good. Like your healing for instance it is spiritual. By whose stripes ye were healed is a spiritual reality. But that spiritual reality has to become a physical reality for it to do you any good. And faith is the substance that gives substance to that spiritual reality into a physical reality.
Faith is believing something without any physical proof. And a good example of that is the 10 lepers. They believed Jesus words, which are spiritual (John 6:63), over what they could see and feel. They believed Jesus words when they had no physical proof. When Jesus told them to go show yourselves unto the priest (so he could pronounce them clean) Jesus was calling them healed. Believing the spiritual over the physical that's what faith is all about. In the beginning faith gave substance to this physical world and it will continue to. Faith comes by hearing but when it comes it is released by speaking. Faith has to be released. And when you believe something you will speak it (2Corinthians 4:13). God gave you his word to get his faith so that you can give substance to this physical world just as he did. That's why he made you in his image and in his likeness.
